This is why I shouldn't skip a day

Well folks, we're in the middle of another home improvement project and this time it's the pouring of our driveway. The reason I wasn't able to post yesterday was because we hit a little bump in the road (driveway?). Pun definitely intended.

While trying to lay some type of drainage pipe, our phone line got cut in half by the guy on the tractor/bulldozer/thingy...okay I have no idea what the machine is called, I just try to act like I do to appease Matt. Here's some pics of Kate near the scene of the crime.

Thankfully, the phone company came out this afternoon and hooked us back up. So now I've got a lot to squeeze into this one post. Don't worry, I've got skills.

Last night, Matt took me on a date to a very posh and private location.

You may have heard of it....

Yeah, you know the place. Although your local establishment may or may not offer the laundry waiting to be put away or the children's toy in the background.

I even got all dolled up for the occassion, as you can tell. Pshhhh. Only the best for my man.

We also enjoyed a delicious, gourmet meal.

That's how we do it 'round here.

Today we went looking for new living room furniture and went to several places but found nothing....until our last stop. We ended up finding exactly what we were looking for and brought it home with us because M to the Izza is not the time of guy to place an order or wait for someone to deliver. If you know anything about Matt, you know he had a big ol' flatbed trailer hooked to the back of his truck... just in case. The guy really does come in handy sometime I tell ya! I'll try to post pics when I get a chance.

Kate got some new water boots today while we were out and about. We wanted to get her some "work boots" as Matt calls them, because she loves being outside in the dirt helping Daddy work, but we couldn't find any, so we had to get her these instead. She kept going back to them!

They have cows on them.

Gotta love her!

Oh, and two more things:

1. I added a new gadget (widget?...somethingget) to my sidebar. It makes it easier for users to follow their favorite blogs. Just click the 'Follow this blog' link and you'll be added. That way I can visit your sites as well, just by going to my dashboard. Try it.

2. I edited (or I should say corrected) one of my recipes from a while back because I had forgotten to put the amount of flour in the list of ingredients. Sorry! And if you don't cook, have someone else make it for you, you deserve it.

Have a great tomorrow!
