Would you wear these?

Pics courtesy of People Style Watch

Have you guys heard about the new trend in footwear? I'm not so sure these bad boys are for me. They're described as "the latest hybrid shoe – part open-toed sandal, part ankle boot."

The pics above show Jessica Alba, Whitney Port and Rachel Bilson all sportin' the new look. What do ya'll think? Would you wear them?

NO WAY!!! I think they're hideous. I had a dream last night I was wearing bone colored ankle boots. I wouldn't be caught in either in real life.

There is a little something waiting for you on my blog...

No ma'am! These are horrible! I'm with Sal Gal on her comment. I am guilty of saying I hate a new fad and then find myself right along with the other fashion mishaps, but this one, I just don't see happening! yuck

I love reading your blog. Some of your stories crack me up! I thought I would comment this time.

Like some of the others my first thought is NO WAY!!! But then I get to looking at them and think, 'well maybe I would'. I don't know. It's a toss up. I've said that before on things and guess what, end up having one of each in the closet! :D

I am going to an 80's party next weekend though and I do think these shoes would be perfect! Oh why didn't I keep my leg warmers and slouch socks from so long ago!!!!!

They're a little odd! I cant' say I would even have an outfit that would make them look cute.....

But I also made fun of Ugs when they came out - & then I wore the heck out of them.....

Oh wow, where do I buy those - those are awesome!

Ha JK! I wouldn't wear those if my life depended on it.

I've been blog surfing this morning and found you.

I have to leave a post about those hideous shoes. Firstly because I can't stand ankle boots. I think they are awful but now cut out the toe?

Someone in the fashion industry is just messing around thinking "Hey! let's see whose gullible enough to by these boots without the toe because we didn't have enough leather to finish them off!" Crazy fasionista's

Ummmm why have I not seen these? Wouldn't they be cute with jeans? hahahahahahahahaha

I like the dresses but those shoes, not so much. But things for keeping up with the style. I feel so up on the fashion :0)

I would wear the ones Rachel B is wearing, partly because I think they are actually cute, the color works for me, and also partly because anything she wears I worship. Love her.
I am IN on this trend but wont buy them for myself more than likely.

I think that I'll have to go with NO! They are not cute to me... sorry!

I want to say no, but I am always amazed at what I say no to and then end up wearing even from simple non-ugly things like flat shoes. We do get persuaded by fashion, so we'll see is the best I can do. Just can't imagine it though. I wonder if they are comfy :).

No, no, no! I usually love Rachel Bilson's eclectic style, but she really went off the rails here.
