If it wasn't for the man pumping gas

Guess who...

...slept until 10:00 a.m. and used the bathroom in the potty for the first time yesterday.

This chic right here:

My first week at home from work and this is how she treats me? This could be the beginning continuation of a beautiful friendship!

Today we went to the beach and got sand in all of our crevices, but had a ball!

On the way home we wanted to pull through the Chick-fil-a drive-thru and get a drink. As we were pulling in the parking lot, right behind a cola delivery truck making his stop at the Wal-mart nearby, I noticed a bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper fall out from under his roll-up door. It came to a stop on the curb and I surprised myself for actually considering stopping and getting it. If it wasn't for the fact that it would've probably sprayed all over me when I opened it, I may have stopped to grab it. Plus, it wouldn't have been cold. I laughed at myself for actually considering it. What the heck? I swear Hollie, sometimes I think I don't even know you. But what really ended my thoughts on it was that there was a man pumping gas at the Wal-mart gas station watching the whole thing. As I glanced in my rear view, there was a lady in a van and I could almost promise that I saw her do a double-take at that bottle and hit her brakes, making the same contemplation.
I'm just going to blame it on the heat. It was making me delirious.

And then later this afternoon when we got home, we went to town on this thing:

It's pretty sad when the public shower station at the beach reminds you of your shower at home.
My cleaning spree started with the shower. And ended with the shower. I'll pick up again tomorrow.
Let's not get crazy.

Yay for Kate! Can she send an email to her good buddy Kinley? She seems to be miss stubborn about the whole potty thing.

And the cleaning spree was funny. You sound like me. =)

I'm so jealous that you live by a beach! And the fact that you're off all summer! So jealous!

I'm doing a cleaning spree on my bathrooms tonight - I vowed that after I saw all the hair on my bathroom floor this morning!
