Because apparently I'm just as red as he is

As you know, I like to kid around with M to the Izza for being a little lot country. I, too, was born and raised in the south, which I love with all of my heart and wouldn't change it for the world. I do, however, draw the line at shopping for clothes in any store that may also sell 'feed' of any type. Matt, on the other hand, could get locked in a Tractor Supply for a day or so and call it his vacation for the year.
Well, Saturday night, as I was winding down from an afternoon of shopping with Abbi, waiting for him to get home from a long day of hunting, he calls as he gets near the house and says, "Hurry, change into something old and get ready to have some fun."
I'm sorry what?
He proceeds to tell me that since Kate was spending the night with Grammy, we're going 4-wheeler riding. Oh, what a coincidence, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking we should do! Pshhhh.
Not to mention, it was sprinkling outside.
Well, to be a good sport, I go along. And let it be said that I do enjoy the occasional 4-wheeler ride but it's usually not very often and it's also during the day and when it's not raining!
After riding for just a few minutes, the rain picks up and we are getting drenched. Now to be honest, at first I was a little ticked because I had just showered and you know how I like to stretch out a good hair washing. Well, that hair washing went to heck because after riding for a good two hours or so, we headed back muddy and soaking wet.
We ended up having such a good time and I may even suggest we do it again!
Now, my tailbone is paying for it. As I went to use the restroom this morning, I was reminded of every single little bump and dip we hit along the way. I feel it every time I sit down.
Maybe I'll just look super energetic today at work.
Man, that Hollie is such a hard worker. I haven't seen her sit down all day! Ha!

Draw the line at sleeping under the house when the a/c goes...it's gonna play havoc with your hair.

can you drop me an email sometime so I can ask you about your couponing? The emails I have gotten from your comments are no-respond.

Thanks!!

i had a similar experience. My inlaws bought the kids these super soakers. My husband would taunt me now and then by getting me wet *i had even straightened my hair that day (i feel you)* Well, after about 30 min of the taunting I got to him with another kids super soaker. We had so much fun with those things. I guess we do have to let ourselves have a little fun every now and then.

hahahaha!!! Hurry up and put something old on! HILAR. Four wheeling scares me acutally, I'm so afraid of falling off and flying from the vehicle and lying in a ditch for days before I'm found. Whoa that was a little dramatic of me, don't ya think??

Love some 4 wheelin! We have the dunes here and it's great fun!

However, I do understand the desire to stretch a good hair washing/styling.

Kudos to you for lettin' that go and having fun!

Hahahahaha You go girl ~~ wet hair and all!!!!! I'm not in 4-wheeler condition right now with the knee and all, and even if I was we don't have a 4-wheeler, but if I were and we did, I'd so be 4-wheelin' in the rain with my man. WOOHOO!!

Okay don't know where that comment came from, I must be feeling energetic, and I'm sitting down :o)

Have a GREAT day, Dawn

Oh I am laughing out loud on this one! Girl, our husbands would be best friends if we lived by each other. Heath has done this before but got stuck!! I too love go four-wheel riding on occasion, but definitely not while raining! Ha, I'm like you, gotta stretch the hair washing days! :)

I have never been before, but it sounds like so much fun! We talked about doing it in Hawaii...we haven't been to Hawaii yet...I think we should go bc you made it sound so fun and romantic, ha! Think he'll go for that? And yes, I'm with on stretching the hair washing, which usually isn't too long for me :)!

The spur of the moment, doesn't matter the weather, kinda stuff is always the most fun! Unfortunately, those are the things that can make you the most sore too.. ouch!

I'm married to an ole' Georgia Boy so I know what you're saying about Tractor Supply! Some of his favorite boots and clothes came from there.

Glad you ended up going and it sounds like it would have been a lot of fun! Sometimes it's fun to do something spontaneous and unplanned - even if it DOES mess up our hair and makeup! And clothes!

My brother has a 4 wheeler and the last time I was visiting he took me for a ride around to see his land and suddenly took off like a crazy person and nearly scared me to death. I was hangin' on for dear life. But I survived. Not so sure I want to do that again though. You are a brave woman.

We went riding not too long ago, I have pics posted from it somewhere in an old post. I think it was in July or August? I'm not sure. Anyways, always sooo much fun! Like you though my tailbone was in so much pain after the 1st day. The second day I was sure to bring some cushion to help. I still had a nice bruise though!

Wow your husband would get along great with my husband! :) Sometimes I think he likes hunting more than us. haha! I haven't been 4-wheelin in a long time but it is fun....I'm sure I would feel the same as you did the next day. I went skating for a kids birthday party a week or two ago and of course I fell during the limbo....whooo I think my tailbone is still bruised. Sounds like you guys had a great time! :)
