- Several of you have asked what kind of camera I use. It's a Nikon D40 SLR, along with this high power zoom lens. Believe me when I say that it is very user-friendly and perfect for everyday folks like myself.
- Someone asked me the other day why I never posted my pic from the Gate River Run 15K, which I said I would post back in March. I actually forgot about it, but here ya go...
Mr. Bib#13683 behind me seems to have gotten some inside info on where the photographers were gonna be located. Guy's looking directly at the camera, grinning, ready for his close-up. Guess ol' Sunglasses Joe and I missed that memo.
But who am I to make fun? I'm the one running in 2009 WITHOUT an iPod! Seriously, who still runs with a radio strapped to their arm?!

I am about to run my first race in a month! All the bloggers who run have motived me to start running. All the races around here won't let you run with an ipod.
Adding a email is the best! I have been contacted by lots of companies to do giveaways and have been sent tons of free stuff to try out. Yes!
LOL! I was thinking - "That's not an iPod, dear gosh what does she run with?"! Atleast get ya a Shuffle!
Well when I walk, I put my cell phone on the mp3 part and go. But then I realize that I need my hands for the stroller. Annnnnnd I can't hear it if it's in my pocket. Soooo genius that I am decided that it would work if I stuck it in my bra. So white trash, but it worked.
I have the same radio thing and have used it for years. I don't own an ipod either...hubby thinks I'd probably just drop it and break it...he's probably right :)

I actually have that same radio, my parents got it for me in highschool to use for track and CC practice. Now the hubby and I use it to listen to Tennessee basketball, while were actually at the game. hah!
Good picture! I don't have an ipod either.. boo. It broke a while ago and I still haven't gotten a new on. I feel like I'm the only one on the planet who doesn't run with one!
