Take a peek

I got nothing. Nothing.

So here's a glimpse into my head...just some thoughts that have been churning around, but are in no way post worthy...

-It's entirely too cold outside for this warm-weathered girl. I do not have enough clothes for cold weather so I have been wearing the same things over and over, and over..........and over.

-M to the Izz-A told me two days ago that I was "too guarded" and that I don't let people "get too close to my heart". What?? No one has ever told me this and I have never thought of myself in this way. Either way, I can't get it out of my head and find myself wondering if he's right. I hope not.

- I can't even do a post about last night's Bachelor Finale because I didn't watch it. As a matter of fact, I didn't watch a single episode this season (or last season). Not that I don't enjoy it, because I really do (against Matt's wishes). But I just didn't watch it this go 'round and have no good reason why. Either way, I feel out of the loop as far as TV goes lately.

-Why is it that banana chips have the nutritional content of a bag of Doritos??! Does the banana not count for anything?

- Am I the only person who gets up early and has plenty of time to get ready but waits until the very last second so that I'm then running around and rushing like crazy, leaving just enough time to cut a wheel out of the driveway and speed my way to work only to arrive feeling frazzled? Why do I acknowledge that I do this to myself and continue to do it?!

So there you have it, the deep and the shallow of it.

My mind.....it's a jungle in there.

Hollie,

Husbands usually are right about stuff like that.

What a great conversationalist Matt is.

You watch the batchelor?

What is next, Flavor of Love?

Your mind is truly a jungle.

My mind is truly an 80's wonderland.

I hope you guys are well.

Hollie,

Just why I love you so much. Even when you have nothing to talk about you still find a way to crack me up.

Have a great week!

Girl, I am with ya. My husband, Matt btw, hates me watching reality TV, unless it is Wipeout, cause let's face it, that's a good laugh. I thought the banana counted for something too! Love reading, even if it isn't deep. :)

Wow... that was a profound statement there from the ol' hubs. Interesting. Seek the Lord on that one girl. He knows it all! And yes, I am late for many things... not because I wasn't up in time, but because I start doing things and then realize that I have not had a shower or anything and have to be there in 30 minutes. Hang in there girl. You will make it! :)

I have always wondered that about banana chips!

I do the same thing with getting ready. Every stinking time.

I will spare you the agony of getting caught up with "The Bachelor" this season and tell you not to bother. Very disappointed in lead actors - um, I mean, the entirely real, wholly non-fictitious contestants - and the outcome.

I do the same thing. Wake up at 6:30 and by 8:50 I am RUSHING to get out the door and to work on time. Why??? What am I doing exactly, for those 2 hours???

I am glad that somebody else is wearing the same outfits over and over. Truth is I have other outfits I am just so sick of the cold I have given up on being cute, bring me my hooded sweatshirt and uggs. I give up. I NEED Spring!!! And I had no idea about the banana chips - thanks for the heads up!!

I am with you on the banana chips thing...what gives!?

Hi! Been reading your blog for awhile but haven't commented before! Love your blog - makes me laugh and keeps me going at work (when I should probably be doing work!). I am EXACTLY the same way with getting ready in the morning. If I have a lot of time I get easily distracted (watching tv, finding something to wear, etc.) and end up rushing at the very end. It happens every single day!

I am def with you on that last one. I do it every flippin day.

I'm with you... I only watched ONE episode of the Bachelor and feel totally out of the loop. And, LOL, about the being late thing.. my husband gets frustrated with me all the time for that.

I so understand. I don't watch the Bacholor either and never seem to be heading out the door at the right time to take my daughter to school.

Not fair, I think the bananas count for something!

I do the same thing in the morning... but it's usually because I am BLOGGING! =)

Love what's going on in your head. It's a lot like mine... random bits of greatness.

You are hilarious Hollie! Your comment about guarding your heart...maybe that is a thing that just happens because "life" happens to us. I am sure you don't mean to place guards around you...it's just a protective thing so you don't get hurt. Believe me...you are not the only person to do that. You are just one lucky gal to have love all around you so you don't truly have to protect yourself. Maybe that's Matt's way of saying...let me protect you
girl :-)

I do the same thing with getting ready.....rush, rush, rush! I'm so ready for Spring as well. I'm tired of wearing the same thing over and over too. I have a lot more spring/summer clothes than winter.

Hey girl!

Okay, so I'm wanting a blog makeover...and I was wondering who did yours...

Thanks!!!

that almost always happens! oh I've got time, then oh my gosh, there's no time! haha! Love the list, it sounds (ummm reads) to me like you are a great friend with an open heart, definitely listen to Hubby but don't spend time worrying about it :) oh and how about putting some bananas in the bottom of the bowl with ice cream like a banana split because it makes it a much healthier dessert!

You seem like a loving person??? I wouldn't ponder on that too much...what do men know anyhow?? haha!

Huh... now you got me thinking about the banana chips....how is that?? Although there are a lot of things you would think would be good for you that are not....I guess banana chips fall in that category.

I am so with you on being late....never used to be that way but I am now. Oh I'm early let me just throw in that load of laundry...ooops now I'm late. If this tells you anything I have worked at my current job for 7 years and I have only gotten to work on time probably 20 times....I am awful but I never get in trouble so I think that's why I push myself.

Sorry for my rambling....

You are so funny!! Isn't it scary to write out your thoughts and actually realize how random and weird they sound?

Odd what your husband said.. Hope you can figure that out.

it is a jungle out there!!! glad i'm not the only one that thinks these things....word on the banana thing too.

ooo... I wait until the last second to get ready too. The "too guarded" comment would really be appropriate for me. But it would probably upset me if my husband said it to me.
