At least it sounded good

Tonight Matt, Kate, and I had the idea to grab us a bucket of chicken from one of our favorite, local joints, Quik Chik, and head to the park. But when we got there we decided to just go in and eat our dinner there. We were hungry! Besides, ideas always sound better in theory than actually doing them, right?

After eating, we started the short drive to the park. But no longer than two minutes into the drive, Kate fell asleep. I'm talking about a deep sleep. So we decided to turn around and just go back home. We'd do the park thing another day. As we pulled up to the house, she woke up wired and ready to play. A short cat nap always does the trick. We decided to play in our yard for a while. Actually, we didn't so much play as we did dance.

I wasn't exactly sure what move I should bust to "The Itsy, Bitsy Spider".

Then we headed (across the yard) to help Abbi and Adam who were working on their house. (They're hopefully almost finished and getting close to moving in.)
